The project's progress in Bac Kan province from April to July 2024 has been documented.

From April 7 to April 9, 2024, screening days were organized, where 135 children from various districts in Bac Kan province underwent comprehensive screening. Center II prioritizes education, evident in the training provided to 121 nurses from communes, health workers, and provincial doctors during the screening process. This training aimed to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement our screening methods.

Between July 21 and July 26, 2024, a team of 14 individuals traveled to Bac Kan province. Consultations began promptly in the afternoon, with previously screened children being reevaluated and final decisions on surgical procedures made in the presence of their parents. The following week followed a structured routine of surgeries and visits to wards where post-operative children were recovering. A total of 30 children received free surgeries during this period.
